Strength and weaknesses
Several strengths and weaknesses can also be drawn from the article. The author concentrates too much on the literature review and does not transfer much of what is captured in it to the methodology section. Rather than using the literature review as a means for gathering the data to be evaluated in the methodology section and analyzed in the results part, it is a lengthy section with the gaps being identified in the last few paragraphs. Also, in the methodology section, the author states that they will only study the identified gaps, but they end up studying other aspects.
The strengths are that the article addresses a current issue in sports that needs a lot of attention. The findings suit the introduction and are presented in an orderly manner. It is important to note that the article also indicates areas of further studies based on the identified gaps. This gives relevance to the article and makes it appropriate for use as a valid reference material. The areas of further studies are directly linked to the topic and will, therefore further widen the knowledge base.

The article succeeds in providing the reader with information regarding sports legacies and the expectations that could be derived from them. It is of great use to any organizations of individuals who wish to bid for hosting rights, helping them know what they are getting in to so that they can make a wise and informed decision before investing any of their time and effort.
